My friend and I were in the area for a business meeting, and we were both hangry until we saw Tikiyaki.
We came in for a quick lunch and were so surprised with how good the food was for a decent price. The service was excellent and the people who work there are very nice.
Tikiyaki offers brown rice, which I prefer since I'm on a healthy diet. They pack the bowls with plenty of meat and veggies. The chicken was nicely marinated with teriyaki sauce and was freshly grilled. The broccoli and cabbage were slightly undercooked and unseasoned, but I was able to mix in the teriyaki sauce to flavor it. The sriracha hot sauce is a must have too! We also ordered some of the volcano shrimp a la carte. It's really spicy and delicious!
The food here is simple but outstanding. It's similar to Yoshinoya but with more variety and higher quality food. There is a wait after ordering the food, but that's because they cook to order. It takes about 15 minutes, depending on how busy they are.
Best teriyaki dish in Orange County. Definitely a place I will come back for lunch because of its reasonably priced healthy food. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Hawaiian grilled teriyaki chicken plates or bowls. -

I work right near this place, and first time trying this place, this is the best value meal. You call to pick it up. Its so easy. No waiting. 5 min round trip.

Just to preface, I love chicken teriyaki. Every time I'm in a new place I always try the chicken teriyaki. I don't like the boiled version where they just put the sauce on top after which you find a lot at restaurants, and this place definitely isn't that. Although it's a bit far from me, whenever I'm in the area this is my go to place for chicken teriyaki. I've been here about 10 times, had the chicken teriyaki, beef teriyaki, volcano shrimp, and volcano chicken. All of them are good, but I'm partial to the chicken teriyaki.
Overall good portions, good value, but I'd recommend calling in first as this place can get busy. -

After a long day of school orientation, I'm glad to find this little joint! I got this plate and man oh man, so good! The habanero teriyaki sauce was soooooo dank! Glad the young lady who assisted us recommended the sauce. Oh yeah, their proportion was freakin big! They also have the bowl combo with a drink that's pretty cheap! But if doing so, grab a large. However, the only flaw it had was the how there was abit of a wait.
But trust, their food is tasty! -

5 stars because I came with no expectations and was very pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and the food was really good.
I ordered the Volcano Chicken and it certainly didn't disappoint. If you make your large bowl or Volcano bowl (only 1 size) a combo, the fountain drink is about .65 cents or so.
The food takes about 15 minutes and they have a sign that states everything is made fresh to order. So be patient.
The volcano chicken is like a spicy orange chicken...but way better. I've read from reviews that you can request it spicier. I will be doing that next time for sure.
I also tried the egg rolls and they were good. Their sweet and sour dipping sauce seems to be made in house, and it was tasty as well.
I will definitely be back and perhaps try the volcano shrimp, or the teriyaki chicken.
